I bought this for myself because I wanted a relaxing, unique, mess free project that I could finish in one sitting. I also liked that I could pop out the pieces to change the fabric so it was just how I wanted. It was perfect! I will definitely buy another!
My 7 year old twins did the turtle. They loved doubling the lacy fabric over another thin fabric (which made it a tad harder to get in!). The finished product is individual and beautiful! They were extremely pleased with themselves, and have asked for another kit. It was very humid the day they did this. If this is your situation, I recommend opening the kit and letting it sit out so the wood can adjust-mine didn’t wait! Some pieces were tight, but the girls loved hammering them in. This is a fabulous product and worth the price because the finished product is a piece of art! I love that you put a place for name and date on the back.
