Live in: Almost all wild Lions live in Africa on the savannah or in the grasslands, and a small subset live in India

Eat: They mostly eat large mammals, like Zebra and Wildebeest

Fun Fact: A lion’s roar can be heard up to 5 miles away.  

Misconception: Lion’s are nicknamed “The King of the Jungle” but they actually live mostly in the Grasslands and the Savannah and only a small subset of lions live in a Jungle setting.

Interesting Fact: At top running speed, lions can reach speeds of 50 mph!  Most humans can run 5-6 mph! A lion is almost 10x faster!
